Dali’s dream or when things go out of control

The idea for this painting came to me in the night, when I was thinking about paradoxes.

And Salvador Dali was the kind of them! The painting seems to be a dream, where Dali is watching ants selling and buying his own painting. All things around seem to move and to add up to the oddness of the situation: the hand which holds the amplifying glass is at the same time painting it, hot caffe is poured on the painting hand and on the ants, and the small picture which is sold by the ants seems to want to leave the its own confines.

It is similar to our own dreams, which might take some funny shapes and leave their confines. I hope it happens to your dreams too :).
